A Glance about Meningitis

Meningitis is a disease that attacks brain’s membrane. The original word comes from Ancient Greek which means inflammation in membrane. The membrane that protects brain usually called meninges. The bacteria and viruses are the two big things which cause this disease. This disease can be caused by drugs, but it is very rare. Someone who suffered from this disease usually feels hurt in the head.

Meningitis has its specific symptoms they are neck ache and headache. They come together with confusion and high fever. This condition causes many other disturbances. For children, the symptoms can come in nonspecific. There are many things that can trigger this disease to attack you. They are specific food, too much working and the use of monosodium glutamate in food.

Meningitis is a contagious disease. It means you can get it from someone around you who suffered from this disease. The very important thing to help you to be far from this disease is that have a good hygiene habit because the bacteria can enter to your body by the dirt you touch.
